In 2007 Sylvanvale embarked on a bold initiative entitled Taking a Step Forward which set out the vision and direction for the organisation over the next 3 years. The plan set clear directions and defined how Sylvanvale would achieve growth and diversify provision in the areas of Accommodation, Day Programs, Respite, Early Learning and Education for children aged 0-6 years.

Taking a Step Forward helped us to identify a common purpose, establish a framework for improvement and define the basis for expansion and growth. Sylvanvale's strategy is clearly linked to building a cohesive and stable organisation that is able to meet new demands and changing needs while ensuring a viable organisation and sustainable service model.

Sylvanvale's footprint now covers the whole Sydney Metropolitan Region with services operating in Camden, Sutherland, the Blue Mountains, Summer Hill and Kellyville. This an exciting stage in Sylvanvale's growth and development and we hope that you can continue to take a step with us.
