Sylvanvale have operated a transport scheme for children and clients attending the Centre for over 50 years.

Transport is provided to over 70 people in various styles of vehicle to suit the individual where ever possible.  These vehicles range from 21 seater buses to specialist wheelchair vans.  In most cases these vehicles are run with an assistant to ensure that our special people are able to achieve the highest possible level of sustainable independence, integration, quality of life and community membership.

These vehicles operate 5 days a week and the runs are organised to coincide with the school and centre operating hours
Caltex have been the major sponsor for our vehicles fuel for many years and this has enabled us to provide this service at a reasonable cost.  We transport people from Arncliffe, Lugarno, Menai, Cronulla, Heathcote and all areas in between to our services at Kirrawee and Sutherland.

The increasing fuel and vehicle run costs are severely impacting on our ability to maintain this service with the present fee structure and we are in dire need of sponsors for our transport users.

• The cost of transporting a seated user is $3,000 per annum
• The cost of transporting a wheelchair user is $5,000 per annum
