Volunteers

Sylvanvale's volunteers are one of our greatest resources assisting with program activities, supporting special events or sharing skills and experience with staff and clients. Our volunteers are highly valued and much appreciated. All volunteers receive ongoing support and have the opportunity to not only gain new skills and experiences but share them as well. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities including:

  • Bus Drivers transporting people to and from programs
  • Gardeners assisting people to maintain lawns and gardens
  • DIY Enthusiasts assisting with general maintenance within homes
  • Hydrotherapy support assisting children with weekly sessions

Our volunteers make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and by being involved with us we can make a real difference in your life too. Whether you can volunteer once a year or once a week, your time and support will be greatly appreciated and make a significant difference to the quality of services we provide.

Sylvanvale volunteers are required to be 18 years and over and willing to undertake a Police Clearance Check if volunteering in the Children's Division and/or a Police check if working in other areas.
