Jacob is an eager and enthusiastic learner who is keen to get involved in all manner of social and play activities. Since attending Sylvanvale's Early Learning Service he has made fantastic progress in all areas of his development. He wants to be everywhere and get involved in everything and because of his new found confidence he has increased his opportunities to learn and develop new skills.

Jacob has cerebral palsy which makes walking difficult and relies on a bilateral cochlea implant to assist with his hearing. Despite this Jacob is really keen to explore and interact with his environment and his parents Katrina and Brendan feel that Jacob's quality of life has greatly improved due the support and encouragement he receives from Sylvanvale staff. Brendan says "Jacob has two brothers, Samuel his twin and Alex and to see him assert himself and seek out opportunities to play with his brothers is really special"

Jacob's teacher states "We have loved witnessing all of Jacob's achievements this year and it has been a privilege to have him in the class. We all know that Jacob will continue to progress and take on any new adventures that are presented to him and we look forward to assisting him on his journey"
