Close to 300 staff and guests enjoyed a fantastic night overlooking Sydney Harbour. Every region and every service type was represented, which was an outstanding effort, and it was great to see so many new faces from the Blue Mountains, South West Sydney and the North West. Entertainment was provided by Vince Sorrenti, one of Australia’s leading comedians, and he lived up to his reputation, having the whole crowd in tears of laughter. Georges put on a great spread and we were treated to mezedes platters of prawns, haloumi and char-grilled octopus, amongst other Mediterranean delights. Everyone had a great time and some of the quotes from the night included: “This is the best Christmas party Sylvanvale has hosted.” “I really enjoy working for Sylvanvale but this party has confirmed what a great place Sylvanvale is.” “It’s great that the Board and management can recognise our hard work and celebrate with us in this way.” We thank all the staff at Georges who looked after us on the night, Vince Sorrenti for his insight and humour, The Board of Directors for endorsing and supporting such an enjoyable event and most of all the Sylvanvale staff team for a great year.
