On Wednesday 17 March the tasetbuds of Sylvanvale clients and employees enjoyed a whistle-stop world tour with culinary delights from America, Australia, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and the United Kingdom to name a few!

For the second year running Sylvanvale participated in A Taste of Harmony, Australia’s biggest celebration of cultural diversity at work. A cultural ‘fun day’ was held at the Sutherland Activity Centre, as well at head office at Mikarie Place, Kirrawee. Staff members brought in a plate of food from the country of their choice and the dishes were shared, enabling participants to sample dishes from all around the world.

Sylvanvale Foundation CEO Pauline Stanley said “What I really like about A Taste of Harmony is that it encourages people to celebrate cultural diversity while coming together to share a meal. Our employees cooked foods that reflected their cultural background as well as their favourite dishes from other countries. It was great to see some people making dishes they’ve never tried before from countries they’ve never visited."
