We were very pleased to accept a special invitation to perform at the Sutherland Shire Council’s Seniors Week Luncheon held at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre. Guests were treated to a medley of songs by the Sylvantones choir as well as a special performance by the Sylvanvale dance troupe.

This year’s theme of “Live Life” was certainly endorsed by all performers who put their heart and soul into the show which was appreciated by the hundreds of lunch guests. Mayor Lorraine Kelly attended the function to honor Shire seniors and congratulate the many centenarians as part of the celebrations.

This was our first performance without our dedicated choir master Jeanette who had to watch from the audience as she recuperated from a minor illness. We can’t wait to be reunited at rehearsals over the coming weeks.

We appreciate our involvement in NSW Seniors Week and are grateful for the positive feedback and calls of support received from the community. We would like to thank Sutherland Council for their kind invitation and Julie and Rhiannon for their continued support of the dance troupe.
