Sylvanvale was honored to be the benefiting charity for the Real Estate Institute of NSW novice auctioneers night. Over 100 people attended the lively event at Waterbrook, in support of the four competing auctioneers from the St George and Sutherland Shire Division. It was a great night with a host of prizes and auction items including sporting memorabilia, gift baskets and marketing merchandise.

The competition was close run with only two points separating the eventual winner Dean Applegate from Ray White in Bondi Junction from the rest of the field. Dean was delighted with his win and is keen to represent the region in the State finals. John Kelly, Sylvanvale Acting CEO said “the REI NSW always put on a fantastic event and the generosity and support shown by it’s members is very much appreciated by everyone at Sylvanvale”. This year funds will go towards supporting an innovative multi-media program called Project U Turn. Loretta Passerini, Brendan O’Connell and Mark Walters attended on the night to provide an overview of the program and demonstrate how technology can give a voice to those not previously heard.

Our sincere thanks and gratitude goes to Lene Mitchell and Andrew Manson for organising the night, to all the team at Reef Imaging for the generous support and to Coleen Bowen and Melinda O’Malveney from 2233 Realty for making Marks’ night by donating a signed Cronulla Sharks jersey.
