| Sylvanvale commercial is a wrap |
|
Who knew that Sylvanvale was home to so much on-screen talent? Filming for Sylvanvale’s Australia Day commercial, which is to be screened at the Cronulla beach Australia Day celebrations, unearthed a host of natural actors who were at ease in front of the camera. Matt and Xavier from Sylvanvale Catering kicked off the ad with a brilliant double-act filmed on the beach amid hundreds of onlookers, star-struck by the film crew. Judy, backed up by Chris and Rhonda from the Garden House had fun potting plants on camera. Chris seemed to have a knack for directing, as he beat the director to saying “action” for the first take! Mark and Graham, accompanied by Rodrigo showed off their Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills. The boys have done numerous public demonstrations now, all of which have been filmed, so this was second-nature to them now. Sylvanvale student Levi and Mikarie Child Care Centre team member Sarah had fun in the sand pit blowing bubbles, while the crew worked around them to capture the moment. Levi’s father Randall watched on, and Sylvanvale Accommodation Manager Todd completed the picture. Another Sylvanvale Catering star shone brightly later in the day, when Jenna took to the kitchen and baked up a storm. Sylvanvale staff member Beau also helped out in the kitchen. Then the last shot for the day saw the crew back at the beach, where Allysha, Rodrigo and Harkeet helped drum up interest in volunteering and donating at Sylvanvale. It was a remarkable experience for all involved and the end result was impressive. The blooper reel wasn’t too bad either! Click on the bellow link to watch the commercial: &feature=player_embedded
