On Monday August 3rd we were pleased to launch the Children’s Art Exhibition at Westfield Miranda. The exhibition will run from August 3rd to August 16th and is a joint initiative between Sylvanvale Foundation and Westfield as part of the Community Program that supports children with disabilities and their families.

The exhibition will display art works by 32 aspiring artists, all aged under six, who attend Sylvanvale’s Children’s Services respite and early learning programs. John Kelly, Director People Communication and Culture said: “Painting is a great medium for children to express themselves, the use of colours, shapes and textures encourage children to communicate how they see their world”.

Westfield shoppers are able to purchase any of the artworks through a silent auction process and Sylvanvale will have staff on hand, to inform people about the artworks and provide information on Sylvanvale.
