On Melbourne Cup Day our new Community Partner Rocksalt Restaurant and Lounge Bar at Menai conducted a raffle which raised more than $800.

Rocksalt’s owner and manager Willi Ehrmann said; “We saw what fantastic work Sylvanvale does and we wanted to do our bit to help out, the raffle is just the beginning of what we hope to be a longstanding relationship with Sylvanvale”.

With another successful Melbourne Cup lunch under their belts, the staff at Rocksalt are preparing for a busy and enjoyable lead up to Christmas with plenty of parties, events and functions. Add to that the recent addition of Sunday morning breakfast and Sunday afternoon live jazz and the team at Rocksalt are certainly getting into the festive spirit.

Rocksalt is closed Christmas Day and will re-open on Tuesday 19 January. Until then though, Rocksalt is business as usual, and invites you to share an intimate dinner in a quiet corner, dine alfresco, book the mezzanine level for your special party or just enjoy the lazy lounges with friends, drinks and good times.
