Sylvanvale has produced a safety calendar for 2010 from a competition held during safety week in October 2009. The theme was "safe at work, safe at play, safe at home". The idea behind the competition was the more we talk about safety with our clients, families and employees the more safety aware we become.

Clients, employees and family members were encouraged to think of something they do everyday, like lifting, manual handling, administering medication, driving to work, playing sport etc and then think of a slogan to go with that activity or task. From that idea and slogan, each entrant was required to draw, paint or photograph a picture of the activity being done correctly.
