Kell Taylor CD launch

polaroid You're invited to attend Kell Taylor's CD launch at Katoomba's Hotel Gearin this Saturday night from 8pm. Kell co-hosts Sylvanvale's Shout Out radio program on Blue Mountains station 2BLU FM and his first album is entitled ‘Sleeping on Trains’.

Kell has been working with artists from varying backgrounds and styles, resulting in an album that shows great diversity and ability. From the title track you are taken on an express route to a place where guitars, trombone, harmonica, piano, and Kell Taylor’s unique vocals combine to create a sound very close to the artists’ heart and an experience the listener is not likely to forget.

“I just want to make music that I enjoy and hope that people who listen to it will also enjoy it for what it is - that’s all there is to it. It’s been great making this album, I’ve met a lot of amazing people who have helped me put it together,” said kell

The real energy and presence of Kell’s music reveals itself in a live setting. The energy between Kell and his band becomes infectious and the crowd can’t help but tap their toes and sing along.

To be part of this event and to grab a copy of this emerging artist’s first release, join us at the Hotel Gearin this Saturday 10 July. Supporting Kell on the night will be good friends We Say Bamboulee, who will be playing an intimate acoustic set, and Sydney duo Mackenzie-Jones, who also feature on the album.

Doors open: 8pm
Tickets: $5

CDs will be available on the night for $10 and they will also be available on itunes shortly after the launch. For more information and to hear and buy ‘Sleeping on Trains’ head to www.kelltaylor.com
