We entered Nova Employments short film competition, Focus on Ability which aims to raise awareness of the skills, talent and ability of people with a disability. Films had to be a maximum of 5 minutes and people were invited to vote online for their favourites.

Our entry featured the Sylvantones preparing for their special concert at Sutherland Entertainment Centre as part of Seniors Week. We are pleased to announce that the Sylvantones film was selected as a finalist along with 17 other contestants and although we didn’t win we had a great time at Hoyts Entertainment Centre in Moore Park. Brendan O’Connell, Sylvanvale’s Multi-Media Officer said “The whole process was a fantastic experience for everyone involved and next year we will submit another entry for sure”.
