The mountains are alive with the sound of music, courtesy of the Crowd Around Choir.
The group meets each Thursday night to sing and have a good time in the process. Their songbook is diverse and fun, with a mix of classics, contemporary, rock and world music.
To celebrate International Day of People with Disability the Crowd Around Choir is performing a two hour show called Crowd About and Sing. The performance is on from 10am-12 noon on Saturday the 4th of December at Katoomba YHA, 207 Katoomba St, Katoomba. The show is facilitated by Kate Swadling and Trish Adams and hosted by the Sylvanvale Foundation.
Crowd About and Sing is more than just a show, it’s an inclusive singing experience where everyone – no matter what their ability, disability or skill at holding a tune – is invited to come along and sing their hearts out.
