Family forum

Sylvanvale Foundation’s first Northern Region Family Forum was held in early May in the Blue Mountains. And it was a smashing success.

The Family Forum is a quarterly session for families, friends, guardians, advocates, and anyone who has an interest in the Sylvanvale’s residents and the accommodation service they receive from Sylvanvale. It’s a way to meet other Sylvanvale families and keep up to date with the service.

The main focus and theme of the Family Forums is communication. The three main areas are information exchange, questions and answers as well as consultation.

Information exchange ensures all information about Sylvanvale Foundation, changes, initiatives, as well as information about the person and their family is fully exchanged.

Question and answer opportunities provides an additional chance for families to ask anything to do with their family member attending a Sylvanvale accommodation service.

Open and honest consultation discussions allow ideas and projects regarding the interests and goals of residents, homes, the region and Sylvanvale to be workshopped with a can-do attitude.
