A gold coin donation is your ticket to fun and entertainment on Saturday 21 May. Westfield Miranda’s Give Ability Day is on and it is set to provide hours of activities and excitement for all families and shoppers. Proceeds from the day will be donated to Sylvanvale Foundation’s Children’s Services.
If cute and cuddly is your thing, then why not join in on the teddy bear’s picnic? The outdoors will be brought inside for a real picnic experience, complete with grass and a white picket fence at Centre Court near Myer. Build-A-Bear Workshop will host the picnic from 11am – 2pm. Children will be able to participate in craft activities and listen to stories with the Build-A-Bear Workshop mascot and staff. There will also be face painters, a balloon bender and music to enjoy. Tasty lunch boxes are available to purchase for $5.
Or, if you need a break from your grocery shopping or inspiration for your next meal, head to the Fresh Food Market on Level 2 and watch the cooking demonstrations. If your kids are budding MasterChefs, let them make a mess in the kitchen activity centre, or you can just grab a cup of coffee and watch the live entertainment.
Lucky door prizes are also on offer – and there are plenty of fabulous things to be won.
Sylvanvale Foundation will also be on deck, providing information about our services.
