Sylvanvale Foundation has just opened a new arm of their service – Retail Therapy. The aptly named second-hand store specialises in vintage and retro clothing and pre-loved goods.

To celebrate the opening, Sylvanvale hosted a morning tea for all the volunteers who worked at the old second-hand shop, The Next Step Store. Prospective volunteers were also invited to find out what volunteering in Sylvanvale’s retail store is like. The morning tea gave the volunteers the chance to familiarise themselves with the new shop.

Our dedicated volunteers expressed how great the store looks and how excited they are about having a huge sorting room for all the donations on the premises.

Retail Therapy is located at 29-33 President Avenue, Caringbah, just a few doors up from McDonald’s. The store is open weekdays from 10am-4.30pm and Saturdays from 9am-12noon.
