Teen Time, After School & Vacation Care

Teen Time is an after school and vacation support program designed for secondary students, 12 years and over with an intellectual disability with moderate to high support needs. Sylvanvale Foundation operates the Teen Time Program at Werrington, Epping and Kellyville.

Teen Time operates after school from 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday during term times and from 8.30am-6pm week days during school holidays

The Teen Time program provides a space where young people can spend time with their peers in age appropriate activities that address the needs and interests of the young person. Students may participate in leisure activities, pursue individual and group interests or have the opportunity to do homework. The program will support parents and carers of secondary school students to enable them to meet commitments outside of the caring role, particularly where such commitments cannot be undertaken during school hours. The program has a particular focus on supporting parents and carers to pursue work or work related study.
